Smoke tests

A smoke test offers a solution for various situations. For example, the test can reveal the cause of draught complaints or detect a leakage, by making airflow visible.

Smoke tests are therefore applied to check the discharge pattern of ventilation grilles in order to then use this to set the correct setting. Another application is checking under- and overpressure situations.

An example is a fire fan placed in stairwells of office buildings and flats.
